Elections to the Riksdag, the regional assemblies and the municipal assemblies will take place on 13 September 2026.

Who has the right to vote?
You have the right to vote in the election to the Riksdag if you:
- are at least 18 years old on election day
- are a Swedish citizen
- are or have previously been listed in the Swedish Population Register
You may also have the right to vote in the municipal and regional elections without Swedish citizenship:
- citizens of another EU country, Iceland or Norway must be listed in the Swedish Population Register as living in the municipality and region concerned
- citizens of other countries, and stateless persons, must also have been listed in the Swedish Population Register for at least three consecutive years before election day
Your voting card will show which elections you are entitled to vote in.
How to vote for Kompass
Kompass has submitted its notification of participation in the 2026 elections (Riksdag, regional and municipal assemblies) to the Swedish Election Authority, who has accepted the notification. This means that votes cast for Kompass in the elections covered by the notification will be valid.
Ballot papers with the party name Kompass may be available in some voting locations. If no Kompass ballot paper is available, take a blank ballot paper for the relevant election and clearly write the full party name:
